Welcome to our corner of the internet. We’re Mary and Luis — a wife‑and‑husband team based in Leavenworth, Kansas, and proud parents of five wonderful children. Our home is full of love, noise, movie nights, and the everyday chaos that comes with raising a big family. But it’s also a place where real conversations happen, especially the ones that challenge us to see the world differently.
We began hearing stories from inside the prison system — stories of struggle, resilience, injustice, and inhumane that most people never get the chance to hear. Stories that opened our eyes and changed our perspective.
